I'm interested in rushing one of the "bottom" tier groups. Do I need recs for them?

Yes! They would love to know you are interested in them before walking in. A&M greek life is competitive- getting a bid even to a "bottom" tier house is still awesome! Good for you for ignoring the rest of this crap on here about top and bottom houses. Each house has it's own personality, which is what makes A&M greek life so awesome- you really find a big group of girls similar to you!
