I have to say, the amount of bashing that goes on here is ridiculous. Especially with the fraternities. To anyone who is planning on rushing, please get to know the chapters yourself and don't rely on this website.
And since I know half of you will use this stupid site anyway, here is as realistic and positive of a ranking as you'll get:
Top Houses: (Any and all of them are great and more or less you will have the same experience)
KA/Fiji: These are the most well known. Ask anyone who they think is top and they will say KA/Fiji. Simply put, they both get a lot of quality, wealthy guys and are really popular with girls. However, they're not your typical fraternity in that they don't really have big houses and massive parties, they're a lot more exclusive.
Delt/SigEp/SAE: There is so much fighting about which of these is better. Realistically, they're all honestly roughly equal. These are your traditional top tier fraternities with big houses, big parties, etc. Delt seems to be more laid back and emphasized brotherhood, SAE seems more about raging, and SigEp is somewhere at a balance between the two.
Beta: KA/Fiji quality guys, but not as popular simply because they don't have a house and aren't super socially involved. Still a very solid chapter that's pretty popular with the girls. These are the gentlemen on campus imo.

Middle Houses: (Solid, popular chapters that aren't as prestigious)
Kappa Sig/Sig Nu: They're not the most prestigious chapters on campus, but they're still very socially active and pretty popular with the middle/lower sororities. Both have been improving greatly. Sig Nu has a nicer house and parties harder, but Kappa Sig is probably more respected.
Sigma Chi: Not as bad as everyone tries to make it seem. Granted they do tend to bring in a rough crowd, and they have a less than ok rep with girls, but they have arguably the nicest house on campus and throw pretty large parties. If they could clean up the behavior they'd honestly be a top house.
Lower Houses: (the one's you don't hear about much)
Pike/PiKap: Leads the lower tier. Getting better with time and although not prestigious in any way, have a lot of great guys and are pretty involved on campus. Pike is probably more popular with girls and classier, PiKap has a nice house and parties harder.
SAM/PhiDelt/ChiPhi etc. : these are all pretty small chapters you never hear much about, and they will probably stay that way. That being said, you don't find a brotherhood like the kind you find in these houses anywhere else. They may not be the most popular but they definitely have strong character

Has anyone else noticed that the only fraternity that self promotes on here as much as SAE is Sig Ep? The descriptions are fairly accurate though. However I would do the groups
KA/fiji
Delt/SAE
Beta/Sig Ep/ sigma chi
I say this because Sig Ep is more on the level of Beta than Delt/SAE and sigma chi is miles above sigma nu and kappa sig. Either way if you join any of those 7 fraternities you'll have a good experience as long as you find the right fit during rush.

So you're a delt trying to hide the fact that delt is on here just as much as anyone... I don't think delt is above SAE or Sig Ep... Everyone knows that they've taken some real weirdos this past year

Okay, I'll come out and say I'm an SAE. Call me crazy, but I think everyone's just being played. I'm friends with KA's, Fijis, SigEps, and Delts. They're all cool fraternities with great guys. Let's be honest, if you're in the top five, you're in the top five and that's it. In my honest opinion, I think everything that's been happening is either a Beta or a Sigma Chi trying to sneak their way in the top five. (Most likely Sigma Chi) And their using SAE as a scapegoat to get away with their trolling. I mean, if you actually pay attention, what do you see? KA, Fiji, Delt and SigEp being trolled while SAE is WAY too obviously being self ranked. Meanwhile, who's deleting all the negative rankings on their page and replacing them with good ones at intervals to try and seem innocent? SIGMA CHI

I agree that there's a good chance someone is making it look like SAE trolls cause I don't think they would be as obvious as it is, if they were really on here that much. I personally think it's Sig Ep though and not sigma chi. Up until this semester the general consensus was that the top five were KA/fiji/beta/SAE/Delt. And you never see beta or sigma chi on here saying they're top 5, but literally every post since the start of this semester has been moving Sig Ep up the rankings. Starting from upper mid to now they're claiming to be number three behind KA/fiji and above Delt/SAE which is not even close to true. Unless you asked DZ maybe. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Thank you for realizing it's probably not an SAE doing this, but I still honestly think it's a sigma chi Idk how old you are but I've been here a while. Beta was never really considered in the top 5 until last year when there was a sudden influx of self ranking. That being said, Beta gets just as many negative comments from these trolls as SigEp, KA, Fiji, or Delt do. Which is why I'm almost 100% sure it's a sigma chi. I mean, if it was really SigEp or SAE or any of those chapters, why would they down rank their own fraternity? And idk, my hometown is an area where Sigma Chi tries to recruit pretty heavily, so maybe I'm biased, but almost every Rushee I know has said that Sigma Chi has tried way too hard to tell them that they're basically top house if not top three and bashes hardcore on all the other chapters

Y'all are all stupid. If you knew any guys in SAE or SigEp you'd know that neither of them are really the type of guys to spend their time trolling a website. And if they were, SAE wouldn't be stupid enough to make it so obvious and SigEp wouldn't down rank themselves or admit they're below Delt. It might be a Sigma Chi, it might not. Who cares? It's a troll. Y'all are just feeding it. Either way it doesn't have anything to do with this thread and idk why y'all are talking about it.
This post is pretty accurate. If you've gone to A&M long enoug or had parents here you'll realize the rankings are how they've pretty much always been. SAE and SigEp both got in trouble at some point and now they're back on track, and it's stirring up competition as a result. That's the only reason all the chapters are fighting so much on this site. That, and this troll we keep paying attention to. In all honesty any chapter in the top six (KA Fiji Delt SAE SigEp and Beta) are all pretty equal, maybe even Sigma Chi. Stop fighting and stop feeding the troll. OP has it right

Personally, I never really see SigEp on here all that much. It seems like Greek Rank is run by a mix of KA Fiji and SAE. If you actually pay any attention you'll notice that they're the only ones who seem to post on here a lot. But I do agree that SigEp is not in the same league as Delt. IMO:
