honest advice

If my choices only end up being mid or bottom tier sororities, should I still join? Or is it better to just join another campus organization?

YES YES YES! Don't judge a sorority by what 'tier' it is. Because in reality, these things don't really matter when you find the one that you're the most comfortable in. Don't let others have input on where you feel you belong. Good Luck <3.

No other organization will give you the same experience or connections as greek life. Tiers are a greekrank thing too. No one really cares in real life

Why they say "it's not four years but for life". I've seen this with my oldest sister...all of her best friends, even 5 years out of school are her sorority sisters. Sure she was in other orgs at A&M that weren't Greek, but her Greek experience gave her the biggest impact of her college career. Her sisters were with her at her wedding and older ones give you career advice, etc. These aren't the things we think of as freshmen going through recruitment but I've seen my (real) sister experience it first hand! That's something that not a lot of organizations can offer.

rankings don't matter at all. The experience will be the same no matter which house you make your home. I can tell you that I still hang out with sisters, but friends in other orgs do not still see their friends.
