blinn pnms?

if Blinn Team girls go through and always accept invites, they will be guaranteed a bid like everyone else?

I read the recruitment webpage & it sounds like everyone will get a bid. It says:
Maximizing your options- At Texas A&M, we have a policy which states that every PNM who goes through Recruitment will receive a bid from a chapter at the end of the process so long as she "maximizes her options". This means at Preference the PNM submits the maximum number of houses she wishes to return to that she is able to submit (a.k.a. she does not Single Intentional Preference) and attends every event she is invited to.

yeah you will get a bid but it'll be adpi and in that case i rather not be in a sorority

I am pissed. I hope that even ADPi cuts them all.

When it comes to the national policies of the NPCs at TAMU, don't some sororities automatically consider Blinn Team students ineligible?

Yah it's def a disadvantage. Most sororities will be cutting blinn team girls unless they have a strong personal connection with someone in the chapter or are legacies and even that's not going to gaurantee anything. The girls who really are "sorority material" will most likely get bids from decent houses or if they're smart they will wait to rush as a sophomore. It's mainly because of the admission requirements set fourth by the university. If you don't maintain the gpa and do not get into a&m after blinn team then what do you do?? Awkwardddd.

Blinn TEAM girls: Many women of TAMU sororities are resistant to change. The news that Blinn TEAM women will be able to go through Recruitment was a huge shock to everyone, as it was not presented by Panhellenic originally, it was something the University just imposed on the sororities, AND it came right before everyone got out for summer (which typically is months after sororities have started preparing for recruitment). This shock caused a lot of sorority women to resent the fact that Blinn TEAM girls can rush this fall, but they will get over it soon, especially if they meet you during rush and realize how amazing/hot/funny you are and decide they want you despite the fact that you're BT.

Now here's what you need to do: GET RECOMMENDATION LETTERS LIKE A MAD WOMAN. You needed to have these like, three months ago. BUT- it's not too late. Reach out to your city Panhellenic and be like "just found out I am going through Recruitment this fall and need letters ASAP!" and then get the women who are writing them for you to do it ASAP and send it directly to the recruitment chair ASAP (addresses on cpc.tamu.edu). Get women who really love you to write these if you can so they are more likely to write glowing letters for you. You will definitely need letters for the following or you will be cut for sure:

DDD, KKG, XO, PBP, DG, ZTA, KAT

Connect with as many girls in sororities between now and rush as possible and during rush tell them you want to be in their specific sorority.

Several of the sororities at A&M will not be allowed to pledge Blinn Team students because their national policies are that the PMN musdt be a full-time student, 12 hours or more, at the university.

Texas A&M Panhellenic needs to let PMNs know which sororities will not be allowed to recruit Blinn students.
