by: week till bid dayhow do you feel about this years recruitment being a "non-exciting" recruitment? I know that majority of the houses decided to take the fines with decor choices and etc. but I really want to know how you felt about recruitment season this year!

I don't like it. It takes the fun out of it for the actives and the PNMs and I felt like it doesn't really let the houses distinguish themselves. Decor choices, chants, door stacks, etc are all opportunities for PNMs to get a feel for the personalities of the girls in that chapter. There are plenty of organizations students can join if they're not comfortable with all of the fanfare surrounding recruitment. Ruining it for everyone else in the name of "inclusion" isn't a reasonable solution.

Not doing excessive things to make the houses look better, they were fining for having balloons and doing door chants or screaming once the doors closed and stuff like that
