AXO dress colors?

Why would AXO have their girls wear burnt orange for sisterhood? Especially as a Texas A&M chapter? Wasn’t a fan & seriously don’t understand what the thought process was lol. It didn’t help that a few of the girls spray tans made them blend into their dress…

The colors were variations of red/pink- it was supposed to be rust rather than burnt orange
