My Grandson has become involved with STUMO. He is spending money I give him for his support on campus to go on a week-long retreat. He is not coming home over Christmas break and doesn't respond to my texts. I follow a progressive Christian path and am politically, liberal. If your boyfriend or girlfriend is or has been in STUMO they are in a cult. RUN. They are extremely weird. One guy questioned me ( a devout church of Christ) what have I labored? I was like ok you're weird. YOU do not have to labor...ever. You do not have to show any works to get into heaven. It's not required. STUMO is for easily manipulated kids who may be on the spectrum or have mental issues. Normal, healthy people can see right through this
