A Legacy has a question
by: HelpI am a Chi-O Legacy. My friends that pledged just this last year have such a bad attitude toward Chi O. They say they put on a good from but found that no one really wants to be friends and they are such quirky girls. I want to be a part of a sorority of girls that want to be friends. What would you do people. I visited a couple times and two friends lived in the house this year. They said the literally all the girls don’t want to hang out or even try to form a friendship. They also said, that all the “good” church going girls are throwing up and passing out in the bathroom or sneaking boys in… but then get up and go to church. Come on people. Let’s be real. Help!

Don’t worry about being a legacy. Honestly, legacy doesn’t mean anything anymore. Hopefully your family is supportive of you joining the house you fit with the most. You might walk into XO and absolutely love it or you might get paired with someone and not feel it at all. Whatever you do, DO NOT pledge a house just because your mom or grandma or aunt was that house. Go where you feel that you fit and where the women there want you as well.

I feel you, my grandma was a Chi O so I was really excited and went home to Chi O on bid day but ended up dropping before initiation. It wasn’t the best environment for a girl in stem if yk what I mean. Their priorities are out of wack and the girls aren’t there to be besties, rather come on this site and talk themselves up. Its sad.
