Please explain Kappa to me

1. Are they really mean?
2. Are they even a thing? Did the new members get initiated?
3. Can they give bids next rush?
I want to have facts before I rush and Kappa seems murky. Please clear them up

IMO they are fun, wealthy, and attractive girls. They are from the big cities and went to top Texas public and private schools. They are the girls who would be in top chapters if they had gone to UT…. but A&M is different. Kappa chooses who they want which confuses a lot of girls because they don’t realize that they aren’t really being rushed which is why they don’t like them. Tri Delt (and Chi O to some extent) take the same type but they are more churchy I guess you could say. So Kappas are more fun honestly.
Yes, they have been initiated although it was very late.
They are getting a lot of hate because they have been a top chapter forever and have had some issues the past year. Jealous girls who don’t get how this all works are trying to tear them down thinking it will bring them up. Same thing would happen to Zeta, Tri Delt, or Chi O if they end up with something bad happening to their chapter. Those four have traditionally been top here no matter what you are reading on here.
Just rush. You can tell where you belong.

you don't have to be wealthy to be a kappa. their are many girls who come from the same hs and live in rentals or small homes.

I heard that too but those actives were giving 4 new pledges alcohol in the video, very dumb

it was 2 nm who got drunk the night of bid day and went to the hospital and 1 of them called her mom. the mom called tamu and told on kappa.

I personally would rather be in house where some girls are drinking than in a house with smug tattle tales any day of the week. Guess we are all supposed to pretend we don’t drink? That is certainly why so many of our date events aren’t any fun. Between the fines and the judge mental girls in so many chapters, I am honestly not sure I would rush again.
Guess the girls in DG don’t ever drink. Hmmmmm…..

Maybe it has to do with UNDERAGE drinking, which is against all panhellenic rules and the LAW. But hey, if you can't follow the rules then just break them. And then whine and say others are jealous of you and your bad / dumb decisions.

NO......Kappa is not innocnet in this at all. They play a drinking game every year with nms and pressure them into drinking. There were girls who went to the hospital and tamu had to do something since parents got involved.

So are you saying there is no underage drinking in your chapter?
Hmmmm....skeptical...I know VERY few college freshmen who do not ever drink.
I actually did not drink in high school and am certainly not the most “fun” person around, but you all sound hypocritical, judgmental and lame!

This isn't about my chapter, but Kappa, who did some really stupid stuff and apparently took it a step further and videoed it? Whatever happened, they got caught and there are consequences. I'm sure there are girls who drink everywhere. Apparently, they are smart enough to not pressure others into it and/ or get caught.

Most of this is real but many girls dropped kappa this year since they don't feel wanted and went Zta, ChiO, Axo or Tri Delt. Kappa took the biggest pc with tons of Sophmores.
