housing questions from a pnm

by:

hi y'all! I was admitted to tamu, have not committed (not until I get all my results back by the end of the month) but am considering it. I was told by a tamu representative at an event that on-campus housing is full now; I applied in december but haven't done the later phases of the application yet like picking a roommate, just listed hall preferences, so idk if I'll be able to live on-campus or not.

I know a lot of pnms who live off-campus live in callaway, do you think that also filled up really fast or would I be able to live there if I committed in 2-3 weeks?

also, I've seen people say on here that the sorority houses are far away (3 miles) from all the dorms and what looks like most of the off-campus housing, so how often do freshmen in sororities hang out at the houses?

in the event that I can't live on-campus or in callaway, where would you recommend if I want to live somewhere with a lot of other pnms?

thanks so much for the advice in advance!

Calloway villas are great and they won’t fill up even if Calloway does.

Calloway is old and ghetto quite frankly… lots of newer nicer places to live imo
