COB Help from Actives

There seems to be confusion here about COB this semester. The chapters that have confirmed COB are ADPI, AOPI and GPHI. If you are an active in any of the following chapters can you post your chapter’s status on COB (Ex: yes, no, maybe): AXO, DG, ZTA, DZ, THETA, KD, PIPHI, KAPPA

I’d call OFSL OFFICE!!! They are the only ones who can give accurate info from staff members. A mom called yesterday and confirmed 7 chapters are doing cob.

Sororities may sign up for cob to keep options open but may not take many or none at all.

You are right…. 7 chapters are eligible for cob meaning they are below chapter total. They can choose to do cob or not

All chapters who had Dec grads will be able to COB which puts them below max membership. These openings are slim in number.

What chapters participate in COB?

Any Panhellenic sorority that has an overall chapter membership below Chapter Total is allowed to participate, but is not required by Panhellenic to pledge additional new members. Participation in COB is ultimately up to the discretion of the chapter.

Because COB is an informal process, a list of chapters participating cannot be released since it is always changing at different times throughout the year.

Soooo then why did cpc post a list of only 4 chapters on IG??? Sounds like cpc doesn’t know what the hell is going on!

Sounds like whoever is running cpc recruitment is either being shady bc there is no advisor oversight right now or they just don’t know what the heck is going on??!!! I know several individuals who have called the ofsl multiple times and every time they get a different answer

The sorority couldn’t contact you unless they had your information. I’m not sure this actually happened.

It did happen. I rushed but dropped out bc I don’t get the houses I wanted towards the end and didn’t apply for cob but a girl reached out and said members recommended me. It’s a house I liked, but didn’t get a bid from during fall rush. Just trying to see if I should consider cob or if it will end up the same way with no bid again. Just wondering if I have a better chance this time since they reached out.

If they reached out to you they are interested. They didn't have to do that. Go ahead and see what they have to say!!
