what r top frats here? Thinking bout spring rush
by: curiosI hear it’s Pike, Delt, and sigma chi who are the main three big ones. What would y’all recommend? I hear delts pledgeship is toughest of the 3. What other frats are there?

tbh i know very surface level stuff abt frats, but my personal favs and the ones that i know a lot of people have generally decent opinions of are pike, delt, sigma chi, & ksig.
again, not necessarily top frats, just the ones i generally enjoy the most and know other people do as well.
also, have a friend in delt and pledgeship is definitely intense.

before i rushed I heard Delt was top three and had the toughest pledgeship, which is why it caught my attention, because once I was an active, I knew i would have wayyyy more benefits compared to if i rushed another big fraternity with an easier pledgeship, it’s the longest and toughest but as a grad I can assure you it’s worth it, but I encourage you and all others who read this to rush around, at the end of the day it’s wether or not you like your potential pledge brothers and if you like the actives you’ll be doing things for!

How long is Delt pledge-ship and what does it consist of? Also, what exactly makes it so tough and how much cuts will they make?

They along with all other fraternities will almost never cut you unless you’ve really done something unforgivable, kids dropping on their own tho, that’s a different story. Delt usually goes into December so it’s definitely a challenge but it’s not something you or anybody else couldn’t do. Grass is greener my friend!

SigEp stands out as a forward-thinking fraternity in all issues, including gender. SigEp has traditionally treated gender as binary, when we live in a world with increasing awareness that gender is not always binary. SigEp’s membership is currently restricted those persons who identify as male, but there is limited space in Greek communities across the country for non-binary individuals to engage.
SigEp is leading the way towards the future of Greek organizations in the United States as gender inclusive organizations. SigEp is convening a task force to explore removing any screening of gender from its membership criteria and this will also expand SigEp’s recruitment pool.

But new SigEp is a dry frat, no pledging, just online brotherhood. The worst thing about joining SigEp is having to install the Balanced Man app on your phone so that Nationals can track you.

IMO Beta and Kappa Sig definitely got the best pledge classes in the fall. Their guys are nice to girls and are also respectful.
Agree that KA does have a lot of fun events though.
