Actually nine Panhellenic participated in spring recruitment. It's a fairly common practice because by taking a few girls in spring you improve your numbers for formal recruitment in the fall.

DG did... but it's not a big deal to spring rush for sororities. Girls graduate in December and new freshmen drop because of grades or their parents.. It's better to take a few girls in the spring than to lose numbers.

Does anybody know if Theta did spring rush? if so, are they selective in spring rush? or do they give other (non connections) girls a chance?

Anytime you raise total, you're bound to have a majority of chapters need to open bid, even if it's only 2-3 ppl. It's not hard to figure out people.
