sorority rankings

Im a transfer from Tx State and didnt join my chapter here for various reasons. Therefore, I can give an unbiased opinion on rankings here after being here for a semester and a half.
1. ZTA- The majority of their girls are pretty, fun and boys like to hang out with them. Not the smartest group of girls and questionable sisterhood but no doubt top tier.
2.Kappa/DDD- I think the main reason they deserve this ranking is from their national reputation. Quite frankly the Kappas and DDD's I have met here are more awkward and not the best looking. They pick girls with money and from good areas. Kappas are known to party and be fun but their recent pledge class is more weird than anything. Same with DDD
3.AXO/DG- Both these sororities are definitely climbing the social sorority ladder. Both fall pledge classes were hot and guys seem to like to hang out with them.
4.Pi Phi- The Pi Phi chapter here is like the awkward middle child at home. You join Pi Phi when you don't really know your place. They're a very hit or miss house- some hard partiers and some very religious bible beaters. Odd mixture.
5. XO/ Theta- While normally considered top tier, both these houses are more academic/ Christian friendly. And even though that is not a bad thing, guys don't want to hang out with them because of it. Side note: Chi O's last pledge class was VERY weird... Some hippies and what not idk
6. KD/Gamma Phi- Average sororities who mix with lower tier fraternities or corps groups. Sweet girls

Wouldn't say XO is that hard to get into.. Have you seen their girls this year??

I can say this is pretty much exactly how most guys see it
Though I will say this: you left out DZ. Which would probably take the spot between 5 and 6, not because their better than Gamma Phi or KD looks or character wise, but because their seen, with all due respect, as an easy lay and wild group to party with

So glad you didn't affiliate! You just look at superficial to judge the sororities here. We are not Texas State. Many of our chapters will not put chapters at Texas State because the caliber of students don't support the national standards.
At A&M sororities are judged on more than who looks good at North Gate. The most respected chapters at A&M are Kappa, Tri Delt, XO, Theta, PiPhi and then ZTA.

Lol Because the chapters here choose if Texas state can have a chapter or not?
However you're right in saying that Texas state in general has a different kind off Greek life (along with other schools like sfa, Sam, ect). Being pretty and partying a lot can get you a bid somewhere else but definitly not at a&m or any other tier 1 or SEC school. That also goes along with the fact that different kinds of girls go to schools like that than people who go here

But being harder to get into doesn't necessarily mean better. AXO and DG are more well known and popular with guys and a lot more involved socially
