A tonnn of Chapters had to snap bid but actually Tri Delt wasn’t one of them. Kappa, Tri Delt, Zeta & DG all didn’t have to, along with A Chi O believe it or not

Some of y’all I can’t. not sure if you know how quota actually works— total for all houses is different which means some houses will have bigger PC sizes than the rest. AVERAGE quota was 67

If you have more than 67 New members then your chapter had snap bids to get you to chapter total. Period. Almost everyone does it. Everyone stop speculating about who did and didn’t. It has little implications about your successful recruitment as it does about how many members graduated or dropped out.

Educate yo self! This is not how snap bids work… you are only eligible to snap if you didn’t make quota! Chapter total has nothing to do with it! If you are not at chapter total then you can cob! If you snapped and didn’t make quota that means your recruitment was subpar!!!

As someone who knows about recruitment— PC SIZE is NOT THE SAME FOR EVERY HOUSE. Baseline quota for every house on the row is 67. If you are under 67 you snap bid. IF YOU GO OVER 67 it means you can take more than quota because girls preffed you and you preffed them back!!! That’s why last year there was like 90 at some houses and 101 at others!

Not how this works. There is something called “quota addition” which is what ensures that all girls who maximize their options will receive a bid. Quota additions are the result of having tons of girls (who maxed their options) pref you and also be higher on your bid list than on their second choices. So, sometimes when a house goes over quota it is ONLY a result of quota additions. Sometimes when a house goes over quota it is ONLY because of COB. Sometimes when a house goes over quota, it is a combination of the both. The beauty of it is that no one knows the reason a house goes over quota, which protects all the houses reputations. And no PNM knows if they are a quota addition.

I agree with you. This person writes this as if there is some type of scale and they are familiar with every girl that pledged at every house. So stupid!! All the houses got good girls. I think certain houses worry too much and in order to make them feel better they post things like this so they can make it seem like they are the top house. This is self rated of course!!!
