fraternity rush
by: jadkfjnvI have a sibling attending TAMU in the Fall. What is the fraternity rush like here? At my school they have a formal rush but it informally starts over the summer, and its all about networking and you have way less of a chance of getting a bid if you don't get a head start. Is it the same here? Any suggestions for him?

Most fraternities do a few summer rush events. I would contact the individual fraternities rush chairmen find out about that. Obviously getting to know them and people is benificial to getting a bid. But other than that the first two weeks back to school are dirty rush with parties and then a week of formal rush events

just for perspective, we have nothing resembling formal rush, but even schools like A&M, TCU and Ole Miss mostly do it is a formality. By the way, respect you damn Aggies' major progress in the Greek scene. Y'all are definitely helping to raise our state to the Greek elite now if you ask me.
