Cuts and only 1 or 2 houses left???

by: Cuts

So I only have AOii and Gphi left and I really didn’t like either of those houses. Do I continue through or drop and go through Cor? I’ve talked to a lot of other pnms in my same situation. Is it me?

Hi, I’m in a sorority and I advise you drop and COB.

COB!! Don’t end up somewhere you don’t feel comfortable I promise you it won’t be worth it!

Yes, it's a thing. You never know how things will end up.

My advice is to go through the process through at least sisterhood to give them a chance. It’s too hard to know from a video and just a quick philanthropy event. You can always drop later if your heart is not into it. But you could be missing out on some really great connections if you don’t give it a chance.

I would wait until pref night and give them both a try. You might end up liking one of them.

It might be good to stick it through and see what they are both like. Just be aware that if you go through pref night and you go back and sign your MRABA then that is binding and it means you agree to accept a bid to any house you ranked. If at that point you feel like you would not be happy in either house then drop out and make sure you understand what you are doing. By dropping out or not ranking your houses - saying you are leaving recruitment at that point, you would be eligible for COB. I am not saying you would get a bid, I'm just saying you would be eligible.

As a senior I’m saying this to be realistic, and I hope you at least consider it, if you were dropped before philanthropy you will probably not be high up enough to receive a COB. When my chapter did snaps/COB it was to girls who made it to sisterhood at least. Most sororities have a “minimum” score a girl must’ve met to receive a bid and she just wasn’t high enough on the list. I would either go through with it or expect to re rush in the spring or fall
