what are the actual sorority rankings at a&m?

Why are you obsessed with the "top" houses? At TAMU the greek community is very close and people are not revered because they're in a top house or dismissed because they aren't. Everyone is pretty much the same. This website is run by some old alums who have nothing better to do than try to relive their college years. Just concentrate on finding a house that you love. The rest will be fine.

This is the message that we should be getting out because it's true. Sometimes I wonder who is writing all the ranking stuff since no one I know feels like ranks have much to do with life here. It could be alums who are trying to make sure their chapter stays strong, idk. But for pnms, I'd say don't worry about ranks. Just find a house where you fit in. If you're a partier, you'd be miserable in some of the houses because you'd be looked down on. In others a studious, academic type would not have many friends. If you base your choices on rank, you won't have a great college experience. When you go alum, there seem to be all kinds. Think of the ladies that gave you recs. It's hard to see that rankings that you see on here have anything to do with their lives. Some are rich, some not, some are pretty and put together, some not, etc. And you really can't tell.
