The 5:
These 5 are highly sought after. All different vibes, but in all honesty, are great chapters. I would say these are the most sought out at TAMU. They have flaws, just like the rest, but generally fluctuate as the popular houses.
- ZTA/DG/TRI DELT/XO/AXO
The Drama:
Houses with history of getting in trouble with nationals and overall CPC issues… not bad houses at all just have had some reputation issues that are going away soon.
-KAPPA/DZ
The “Not my first choice”:
Please don’t argue this I’m begging. Usually girls in these houses go to this chapter as a second choice, but end up being okay/happy. But not on top yet. Usually hate or resent anyone in “the 5”.
-Pi Phi, Theta, ADPI
The most Diverse:
These houses are great!!! But they just generally aren’t sought after from the start of recruitment. However, they are really diverse and have good girls.
-AOPI, GPHI, KD
Everyone finds their place in the Greek life world, this is just my humble opinion (that is think is very accurate for the time we are in right now).\n\n\n\n\n

It’s the same girls replying on here to make it sound majority.
AXO is not sought after here, that’s laughable.
Kappa does have drama unfortunately girls still want them.
Pi Phi would railroad AXO and DZ during recruitment any day of the week.
Check who does spring recruitment, big indicator who drops their chapter.

There are chapters who had girls graduate in December and still didn’t hold spring recruitment. So you’re wrong again. The “graduates in December” narrative is getting old.

umm who then?? all of the relevent houses took girls. zeta didn’t advertise it but they took cobs. i saw pics from their bid day.

I disagree that girls still want kappa, maybe at other schools but not at tamu! They have really struggled the last 2 years, their reputation has gone downhill and their pledge classes have NOT been strong. Not to mention their house is a huge eye sore on the row!

I’m in a “not my first choice house” and honestly it wasn’t my first choice prior to recruitment, however it became my first choice during recruitment bc I was able to see past all the hype and rumors and truly found a house where I felt I fit! Honestly I loved all three of those houses during recruitment… just all around solid girls!

OMG This is so wrong for so many reasons and your “not my first choice” houses are prob the nicest girls on campus and don’t “hate or resent” entire houses. That was so stupid to say. It’s so sad you’re on here trying to sway pnms with just your one uniformed opinion, let them go find out on their own and see who does recruitment the right way. One of those so called top 5 obviously have a GR committee living and posting on this site. And please “I’m begging you to not argue with this” lol

I agree that the resenting the top 5 part is totally wrong but I feel like they’re not the first choice because those houses aren’t all about the fake glamour but then girls meet them and find a house that they love

every chapter did spring recruitment and that’s mostly just because you have girls who graduate early in december and that allows for more girls to come in. pls actually think thru what your saying and don’t lie to the PNMs on here. it’s not a good look for a&m greek life
