gamma phi

by: Transfer

What is Gamma Phi like here? I'm a member at another school and considering transferring, but the sorority would play a big factor in that decision. I understand from ratings on here that they're bottom tier, but I was wondering why. Would people judge me for being a Gamma Phi, or do people not really care what house you're in here? Do they still have swaps/mixers with all the different fraternities?

No one really cares what group you're in here, greek life isn't as big here

I assume she's probably from OU or another relatively nearby school with Gamma Phi, but she could be from any number of tiny schools with much weaker Greek Systems.

They have a close sisterhood and have really improved the last couple of years. Why not go visit them and make up your own mind, don't do it from a website

Loving these honest answers! I'm pretty certain it's difficult to walk into any of the 12 houses and not fall in love with them.

Every house has all kind of girls and you could find wonderful friends in any house. The rankings on here are laughable because there is really no distinguishing within the greek community. These ranks are mostly by alums, trolls, and high school wannabes.

Really close sisterhood. Nice girls. They're on the way up. If you like the girls in the chapter, just affiliate. No one really judges you based on what chapter you are in because every chapter has good and bad members. Personally, I like mixing with them.

Really, they're just bottom tier on here because they are so new comparatively. They're a great group of girls and you should give them a try if you want to. It might be good for them and for you!

pretty new by sorority standards. Then again Baylor has only had sororities a little over 30 years..

Great house, but why are you on this site looking for information about a chapter? GR is nothing but b.s.

At every university the houses that were established first are the highest tier. Obviously not everyone can or wants to be in those houses, though. The newer houses are more diverse since there are fewer legacies, etc. Don't worry about tier. They're a great house.

The first established at a&m were A D Pi, DZ, A Phi, and Phi Mu if I am remembering my history correctly.

The tiers change rapidly. Just give the chapter a chance and see if you fit in with them.
