you could probably only have a chance to COB with the houses that hadn't already let you go. that was honestly not a good move unless 1)you are just tired of rush 2) would rather do open recruitment 3)are still open to the houses you had left.

No, you did not get blacklisted. That is not a thing unless a PNM is notoriously mean / not a good person. Like really, really bad - so bad that she would reflect poorly on the whole Panhellenic system. I’m sure that’s not you though.

What happened to you was 100% normal and I wish more PNM’s knew that going in. Literally hundreds of other PNM’s also got cut by 7,8,9+ houses after open house. Hundreds of PNM’s who are smart, kind, fun, accomplished women - just like you - will end up pledging the sororities you didn’t want. They were still interested in you, btw.

Yes - you’re eligible for COB. Chances are the houses doing COB this fall were the same ones you decided you were too good for though. That’s what dropping out of rush is - it’s deciding you would rather not be in a sorority than be in the ones who invited you back.
