african americans in sororities
by: Gigem789I'm looking on coming to a&m as a freshman next year and I was wondering if there's a lot of African American girls in sororities? I want to join one but I'm not sure if I'll be discriminated against because I'm black

Honestly there aren't many African American girls in sororities although Zeta does have a couple! As far as I know sororities at A&M do not discriminate. The most important thing to remember during rush is to be confident, look your best, and have a blast talking to and meeting other girls! Because it really comes down to how you will represent your sorority after rush. Skin color doesn't matter but how you carry and present yourself does! You should totally rush because there is no other feeling that can be compared to figuring out where you belong! Best of luck sweetheart!
