If I'm transfering to A&M as a sophomore will I have to submit my high school transcrip along with my college transcript? I have a 3.8 right now in college, but I would rather not submit my high school transcript.

Do they really care about high school grades as long as you have done well in college? Like if you had a good college GPA and a sorority liked you would they cut you just based on the maybe not so great high school grades/test scores?

If you were involved in your previous college AND have a good gpa, then your high school gpa shouldn't matter too much. Just put a lot of things you did IN COLLEGE.

It also depends on what college you're coming from. A 3.8 can mean different things depending on the university

Are you saying that a 3.8 at a community college or smaller university would not be impressive to the sororities?

To Curious- it depends what smaller university you might be coming from, such as a 4 year smaller liberal arts college, as opposed to a community college. A 3.8 from a community college is good, but might not be looked upon as on the same scale as a 3.8 from a larger 4 year college.

Its not that its bad just for example a sophomore rushing with a 3.8 from A&M would be looked at a whole lot better than a sophomore rushing with a 3.8 at Blinn..

Oh okay, that makes sense. Thank you for the replies! Are there any sororities that would tend to be more accepting of someone from community college?

I mean it really just also depends on you as a person! Do you volunteer? Are you outgoing? Are you pretty? Will you be a valuable addition to the sorority? All of these factors play in so you should be good

you have to submit your HS transcipt, SAT scores, and class rank to be considered for my sorority and I'm assuming most sororities at A&M
