question about transfering

by:

I'm transferring to TAMU next fall as a sophomore and I really want to rush! I am going to go in with a completely open mind, but just from looking at their websites and reading about their philanthropies I have some that I am especially interested in: Pi Beta Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Chi Omega, and Kappa Alpha Theta. I realize that none of these are "top tier" and I am more than okay with that. Here's the thing.. My high school GPA and test scores (which I think I will need to submit) aren't impressive and were not good enough to get accepted to TAMU as a freshman. However, my college GPA and involvement are really good. I don't know any girls in the sororities that I am most interested in. Since I am not set on "top tier" and I have a high college GPA and good college involvement, should I be able to get a bid despite my lack of connections and poor high school stats? Thanks in advance! :)

all are great houses. Like above posters have stated, just go with where you feel most comfortable. Go to the rush events and get to know the active chapter. It is a fun process and if you do it right, you can't go wrong. Good luck.

I will also be transferring this fall and was told the same thing as the original poster. Greek Life Office told me I had to submit both HS and college transcript. Will sororities see both or what? Can someone please clear this up?

Yes, they will see both.
