question about transfering

I'm transferring to TAMU next fall as a sophomore and I really want to rush! I am going to go in with a completely open mind, but just from looking at their websites and reading about their philanthropies I have some that I am especially interested in: Pi Beta Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Chi Omega, and Kappa Alpha Theta. I realize that none of these are "top tier" and I am more than okay with that. Here's the thing.. My high school GPA and test scores (which I think I will need to submit) aren't impressive and were not good enough to get accepted to TAMU as a freshman. However, my college GPA and involvement are really good. I don't know any girls in the sororities that I am most interested in. Since I am not set on "top tier" and I have a high college GPA and good college involvement, should I be able to get a bid despite my lack of connections and poor high school stats?
