spring rush?
by: vachi! So I know spring rush isn't formal at all or structured, but I'm very eager to be apart of a sisterhood. I just got accepted for Spring 2014 (I'll be a sophomore in the fall). I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of who will be participating? I tried contacting the greek life office as well as head of recruitment but haven't gotten any feedback! Thanks :)

Since you will be a sophomore in the Spring, I would suggest that you look for chapters recruiting in the Spring. You will be more likely to get a bid. If you do decide that none of those chapters are what you want, then you can go through recruitment, but (honestly) it is very difficult for a chapter to choose a junior (because you will be graduating in 2 years). Having said that, it is not impossible. I would give Spring a try, and if it doesn't work out then go through formal recruitment. Keep an open mind, and you will find your home. Best of luck!

What you read on here is likely going to be some hateful girls writing the names of the sororities they're jealous of as having to do spring recruitment. It's better just to let girls that you're friends with in the different houses know that you're interested. They'll invite you if they're interested.
