sorority
by: LoveA&MSo it seems like some houses only take girls that are from certain areas or attended certain high schools, and also girls that have friends or sisters in the sorority. Which sororities tend to accept more girls that are not from a high target area/school and also don't have "connections?" I'd love to be in a sorority but I am from a small town and don't know anyone at A&M. What are your thoughts or advice on this?

It helps to know someone because they can say a lot more than what is on your resume. In the same way, this is why rec letters are important, it give a little more insight about you. It's not necessary though because the different houses will have the opportunity to meet you and ask questions the first couple days of recruitment.
