Why do aggies think they are cream of the crop?? Seriously it's not like A&M is anywhere close to Texas or Rice. Yall have a freaking 71 percent acceptAnce rate. At least the SEC has good time partying with elite Greek systems. O and well still be more successful than you in life because 80 percent of us are rich already. Chomp em baby
#1493by: Honestly
I go to LSU and I was gonna write some mean stuffo cause some core dude is talking mess on our wall but what's the point. I've been to college station many times and will admit it is fun. Northgate always has a great band playing and I feel as everyone was very friendly. Can we just agree on that 80 percent of SEC schools have lower academic standards than A&M BUT when it comes to Greek/football we have you. Also I must say. Them Aggie girls are some hot southern belles. Props on that aggies and good luck this season. Geaux Tigers

To the person posting that A&M has a 70% acceptance rate... you do know that that number does not really reflect full time A&M students. Full time at A&M the rate is actually 50%. The rest of the kids who can claim to be accepted are actually in 2 different programs A&M made. Gateway is where the kids that could not make it go to summer school at A&M and IF they make a 3.0 or higher they are allowed to go to A&M in the fall. Then there is Blinn Team. I honestly wish they would do away with Blinn team. But it only allows them to take one class at A&M and does not make them full students but that is included in the 70%. I work in the registrar office and I know this to be a fact.

I love A&M and being an Aggie but lets be honest... it not hard to get into school here. Hell all B's will get you accepted.
We have a good number of smart kids who were at the top of their classes.
We also have tons of kids that are idiots... we have like 50,000 kids alot of them are going to be just average.
We are a good school and getting better but it makes us look like cult members to argue we are right now one the more selective colleges in America.
