what happened to a d pi?

I am an older alum and doing some browsing. I noticed the adpi chapter seems to get ranked low and am shocked. They were always a solid mid tier group in my day (late 80s). Had some very sweet and fun girls that went out, made grades, and participated in lots of activities. What went wrong? It seems like they are rebuilding and that is a good thing.
Did the university expansion to 3 new chapters hurt them (DG, GPB, and KD)? When did those chapters colonize? I know two other chapters closed before those came on. Was there some sort of probation?
I wish them the best. I would hate to see this chapter go.

Sorry, but GR is NOT the place to come to if you want facts. You'll get lots of rumors and hypothesis that are usually far from the truth. Do you really think college kids of these days know what happened to your chapter after the EIGHTIES when you were there?? We weren't even born yet. I would suggest talking with your sisters or calling nationals. Lol, ohhhhh moms and old alum on gr.

Many alums end up here by accident after after doing a search for their chapter. To the alum who posted, this is a gossip site and you won't find any reliable information on here. I'm on Panhellenic but I don't know what happened since it was before my time. The only thing I do know is that ADPi is in a rebuilding phase and they have been very successful since they have over 100 members now and are active on campus. Maybe you an get information from your local alum group. We all want to see ADPi strong again!

We are doing better and even though we are still considered the bottom right now we still really improved. I do not think rankings on GR mean anything that is why I do not care that we are ranked last every year. We did great this year and are still adding some really great girls now.
