Really? At TAMU all the have to do is say they didn't do it and they will be taken at their word. The university can't treat them any different than their lying qb. The honor code is joke, the university has no core values anymore.

Why does the term "LEGACY" not mean anything to Chi O and other sororities at A&M? That is the most flawed part of rush that I saw!!!!! Beautiful, smart girls were cut from legacy houses way too late in the process

happens every year and it is sad, and the houses cut the other legacies early on so when they do get cut by their legacy house it is tough

I'm guessing you aren't a sorority woman. Being a legacy can't get you into a house. Using Chi O as an example. They have the largest membership nationwide with over 240,000 living legacies. They do not count aunts or extended and step family as legacies so that's 240,000 moms and sisters. Do the math. Do you realize how many legacies that is? Every sorority in national Panhellenic understands the problem ALL 26 sororities have legacy issues that's why we have all adopted a go Greek pro Panhellenic stance. Unless a girl was actually released from TAMU recruitment( those numbers at TAMU are almost nonexistent) the the PNM dropped because she didn't like her house choices. Don't blame sororities for that.

If the lowest house has to fold, then the next lowest takes it's place as low house, and so on and so . Houses closing threaten the entire greek life at any university especially one that is not old and established like at TAMU.

Know your facts before you complain about the sorority system

Houses should not keep legacies past philanthropy round if they do not want them in their pledge class

Each sorority sets it's own policy regarding legacies and which courtesy's they extend their legacies. The member that makes the girl a legacy is aware of her sorority's legacy policy. So members of other sororities may dislike another sorority's legacy policies but they have no say in another sorority's policies. If a member has an issue with her sorority's legacy policy she can always disaffiliate and give her pin back. But usually it's girls from different sorority's using another sorority's legacy policy to bad mouth the other sorority and that kind of behavior is counterproductive to the entire Greek system.

So true! We should all be respectful of each other's policies and supportive of other houses. That will strengthen our greek system.

is Chi Omega going to get another slap on the wrist for another dirty rush? Way to keep it classy ladies! No one needs cheaters like this on sorority row! Panhellenic needs to step up and put them on probation!
