KA and Fiji are 1 and 2 whether you think FIJI is full of losers or not. Unfortunately we associate being friends with the best sororities with being a good fraternity. To be honest, they'd take anyone with two legs. If you read TFM daily and wore bowties throughout high school, this is the place for you.
Beta has fallen off of the map in the past two years. Haven't hung out with them in a while and their Chilifest was pathetic. Football season is coming up so we will see if the tailgates help out. I'd say they're below KA and FIJI by a lot more than they're willing to admit.
SAE is off of social probation after almost two years. A lot of people dislike them because they're a$sholes, but they do have a lot of solid guys. A lot like KA, just have a sketchy reputation. From what I've seen those "sketchy" guys have graduated. I'd say they're neck and neck with beta right now, but on the rise rather than falling. They are full of COMPLETE a$sholes though.
Delt was never on the map but they've fallen out of the top tier conversation. A lot like FIJI in a sense that they take a lot of "losers" from highschool. They do have some solid guys though. I them a lot, real nice guys. Hopefully Fajitas and Ritas goes well, lord knows they need it.
Everyone else will just about bid anyone they can get their hands on. Sig Ep is definately coming back strong from the trouble that they got themselves into.

FIJI, although a top tier, is not number one. Like comment #3 said, they consist mostly of guys who come from the affluent areas of Dallas and Houston.
Beta has been steadily declining. Some stage five clingers. Watch out!
KA is a great fraternity even though they run train on their pledges. If you make it out alive, you're in a top tier fraternity. Really though.
Sigma Chi? That's a joke.
SAE, do they have their charter back? I'd consider them top tier if they're actually still on campus.
Delt, good guys, top tier.
So in alphabetical by first letter, but no particular order, this is my opinion of A&M's five top tier fraternities:
Delta Tau Delta (Delt)
Kappa Alpha Order (KA)
Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)
Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE)
Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp)

Exactly. Which is why we think delt is in the mix.
The guys they get aren't on the same level as the rest of these 5. They just play friendzone so everyone lets them think they're one of the top fraternities. In reality the guys are no cooler than sigma chi

Beta is so overrated. They have a mediocre barn where they give each other bj's behind the hay barrels. I'd rather go to pike paint at schotzi's. Here's the true ranking for the fraternities:
Kappa Alpha Order
Delta Tau Delta
Sigma Phi Epsilon
Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Sigma Chi
The reason why I don't mention FIJI is because they cater to a specific demographic. They're not better or worse than the top 4, they just don't compete for the same kids.

No way brah. Not a big fan of beta but they are definitely better than sae, sig ep and sigma chi.. And delt is not #2, more like 3 or 4 after ka and fiji..

The guys obviously a delt. I'd put delt at 5. A lot of girls think they're creepy and they'll take anyone. Fajitas and Rita's is the only thing that keeps them alive.
This guy has no feel for greeklife at A&M whatsoever

haha if I were a delt, I wouldn't rank my chapter so low. Your level of butthurt is pretty noticeable though. And I've been here for almost four years so I think I have a pretty good idea of who sucks and who doesn't..
