Alright this is just my opinion, but also how I and others most likely feel about the sorority and fraternity ranks at A&M. If you disagree that’s fine but I would say this is what most people generally think as of this point in time. Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments. This is in terms of involvement, popularity, and how well liked they are on campus overall.

Sororities are hard to rank imo because they are so different. Chi O is a great sorority but nobody in it is very involved with fraternities because they don’t party much. Pi Phi is the most diverse sorority because it has girls that party as well as Christian girls who are involved in campus. Again, this is JUST OUR OPINION.
Fraternities are easier to rank but it honestly just depends on what type of guys you like. Every fraternity listed has a good time. Some more than others, but it’s a big school. Most parties are decent sized. Let me know what y’all think in the comments. This is mostly just for fun so don’t be hurt if your org is ranked low. Every Greek org has something different to offer!

Hurting your feelings was not my goal. I do apologize if I did that, it was not my intention. What I don't understand is why you're feelings are hurt. Or why anyone would be offended by the things I said about the program. I get that you're a part of this program, and you are taking advantage of that program - good for you. I'm not talking about you or students like you. As with so many things, something that may started out with noble intentions ends up being abused. I would not be one bit surprised if parents of the people I am talking about gamed the system by getting their kid in this program. Not. One. Bit. I believe you when you say that anytime in the past 5 years you would have been admitted “full” but because A&M cut back on the number of Freshmen accepted this year and there was a record number of applications - I'm just saying, okay, then getting in got just that much harder. I think UT went from top 7% to top 6% for automatic admission. It's very hard now. I just think that UT has a better approach - my friend had dreamed of UT her whole life - she was not in top 7%, she was top 10% and had good SAT scores - she didn't get in - however, if she really wanted UT there was a pathway - she could attend UT San Antonio or some other UT off campus college for a year, make her grades and then get in sophomore year. That's what she did - and I'm happy to report she is starting UT Austin this fall. I don't think she is subhuman or stupid - she worked hard in high school and only made 1 B the whole time she was there. But at the end of the day, she simply didn't make the cut. And she had to work to get to Austin. That's what I'm trying to say, I don't think it should be so easy. I'm sorry if that offends you and hurts your feelings - as I said before, I'm really not sure why it does - but it's really not my intention. The fact is that there is program to bypass the requirements and give a shot to some students - that's great for you and students like you. Unfortunately, I know too many people who don't deserve it based on their high school performance.
