If you have an open mind and open heart, you are unlikely to be cut by all the houses unless your grades are below what's allowed by nationals for the houses. The only time I would worry is if you're a legacy and you go to the other houses and give them the impression that you're only interested in your legacy house, they might all drop you since they think you're not interested in them. Then if your legacy house drops you, too, you could be finished with recruitment. Legacies should not lie and say they don't want their legacy house, of course, but they should keep an open mind and let the other houses know that they're open.

-grades aren't high enough
-your social media is atrocious
-you've been involved in some kind of scandal
-you bad mouthed the sorority and it got back to them
-you didn't present yourself in a clean and well groomed way
-you weren't open to all the groups on campus
there are exceptions but these are the major reasons

If you get invited back to pref round, you are pretty much guaranteed a bid. However, you have to get there first. It is a MUTUAL selection process. The PNM's don't "cut" houses directly, they rank them, and your invites are determined by who invited the PNM back. If EVERY house invites a girl back, her rankings will determine which houses she does not go back to. On the other hand, you might just get invited back to the houses you ranked at the bottom. If so, GO TO THOSE HOUSES. If they invited you back, they are interested in you. All the houses at A&M are great. Give them all a chance.

So true. No matter how amazing you think you are, there are 500 other girls just as amazing. There is some amount of chance involved. You might not have clicked with the girl that picks you up at a certain house and the girl right behind you does click with her girl. She gets invited back, you don't. So don't look at greekrank and decide which houses you are willing to look at. You might only have houses from the lower tier, not because you're disgusting and didn't wear deodorant, but just from random chance. It's up to you to decide what to do at that point. Since those are the only houses that wanted you, you need to give them a careful look. Decide on your favorite each day, but be agreeable and enthusiastic at each party. At the end, choose the one you're willing to dedicate a lot of work to. Realize that all the houses are filled with amazing girls. Each girl looks different from the rest and they all have different personalities. There's not one house with outgoing girls, one with all the athletic girls, one with all the pretty girls, the smart girls, the connected girls, etc. They all have allllll kinds of girls. So find the ones you bond with and start making memories.

to be honest yes you can get a bid from one of the 12... but only if you have a maxed out card each day... both ways that is... so you may want to keep a lower house on the card for the last day so you will get a bid.
