My GPA is 3.0 and I am a junior. Will this hurt my chances?

Which sororities do not really look at grades as a factor?

all sororities look at grades, your GPA is okay but some sororities have "target" GPAs and might cut based off of grades. Mine drops everyone 3.2ish and lower but not all of the houses here consider grades as much, just depends!

Which sororities will cut you for have 3.0 or under? I just want to know so I don’t have high hopes for the house!

No one can really accurately answer that for you... my advice would be to just make sure you have strong extracurriculars, recommendations, and some friends in houses! If you wanna look, go on the cpc website and find the 2018 GPA for each sorority, the houses with higher averages will want to keep that so those will probably cut you.

While you should definitely go in with an open mind, just know it may be harder to get into houses that are consistently at the top of grade ranks. These would be Chi O, Pi Phi, and Theta. You're not guaranteed to be cut from these but if you are cut and you felt that you had a really great conversation there, it may be because of grades.
