will they be biased?

by: Snap

So I’m transferring this fall and the Greek life is way different than my previous university. But I use a prosthetic leg and I’m nervous that most sororities won’t select me because of that. I’m really outgoing and have always wanted to join a sorority. Are most biased when it comes to that? I’d rather know now before I rush than get my hopes up :(

Absolutely not! If anything it will make you stand out and be memorable. Every year we have a few girls in wheel chairs rush so rushing with a prosthetic isn’t unusual at all

Honestly just go through recruitment as any other PNM would. I doubt any chapters will discriminate against you because of your prosthetic leg. If one does judge you for that, then that sorority isn't worth it! These girls are going to be your sisters for the rest of your time in college, so you want ones that will accept you for who you are!
