Saying they don’t have any redeeming qualities is a weird thing to say. Every girl here in Greek life got into A&M so they are all really smart and accomplished since it’s almost impossible to get in now without a high GPA and a long list of extra curriculars. I think every chapter here values grades, character, sisterhood, participation, etc. so I’m not sure how any of them could not be “what a sorority should be like.” I feel like saying that is reducing them all to a stereotype. All the chapters here are good! Panhell love to Zeta, DG, DDD, KKG, XO, PiPhi, AXO and all the other chapters who got hate on here, y’all are all awesome. Love, a friend on the row

You would think that ‘top’ sororities would have high standards and only take the full time A&M students, but last year Tri-delt and Kappa took a bunch of Team Blinn girls - so, no, it’s vey possible to get in with crap grades and no extra curricular activities. Kappa’s class last year was brutal - dumb not so cute girls with connections. I guess junior college girls rule at their house- 😂

jealous much?? Pi Phi is definitely a solid top tier sorority in Texas and Nationally. Truth. Theta and Kappa are top tier nationally also. Sure they all have spotty chapters but overall, mention "the Holy Trinity" and they are it.

I find it interesting that last year’s pledge class from Kappa would be labeled as “dumb and not so cute” since my daughter who pledged Kappa had an ACT score of 35, now has a 4.0 in Honors at A&M and is beautiful. Pretty tough to do, so I’m really not sure where this information was coming from. Hmmm...

I agree with you. A lot of girls in the B Team program went to exclusive private schools not eligible for the 10% admission rule. A lot of them get bumped by kids who get into A&M in top 10% in non competitive schools, so they end up on B Team. Big deal. The sororities understand that. Whoever wrote that comment has jealousy issues.

Kappa is #3 in grades so they are one of most intelligent chapters st TAMU.

Sorry mom, go to your knitting club. You have no idea of the ENTIRE krappa sorority members. It's true, and your precious daughter was needed to keep the grades up for all the ones who look like rocks and are as smart What are you doing on this site? Don't you have a ham to bake?

from my experiences last yr living in callaway, the most fun/involved houses are tri delt, Chi o, pi phi and kappa in no particular order. every time i went out there was little to no presence from dgs or zetas. i never understood why they are considered “top”
