This may be a stupid question... but do you have to attend rush week to join a sorority? I have a family vacation during rush week this year but I wanted to join a sorority this semester.

Yes you must attend Recruitment in order to get a bid. Unless a house does not make quota and has an informal(cor) after.

do not have to go through formal recruitment to receive a bid. You can do COR (continuous open recruitment) but not all sororities participate so it limits your choices. Contact panhellenic.
