adpi or kappa delta?
by: PNM95Which one is the one I should absolutely stay away from? Heard both sororities should be at the bottom, but which one is worse?

Literally no comparison . ADPi has the lowest GPA on the row, the smallest amount of members, the lowest amount of money given to their philanthropy, they never go to other Greeks events and I never see anyone in their letters on campus. KD may not be the best house on the row BUT girls are proud to wear their letters, they are huge supporters of their philanthropy with raising the 4th highest amount of money raised in just one weekend. Also, KD doesn't have continuous open recruitment like ADPi and always makes quota.

I'm an ADPi and new to greek life, since I just joined this fall, but I can say that we have 100% retention this semester, and while I'm not familiar with what Kappa Delta's situation is, I am certain 100% retention is an indicator of a strong sisterhood and great programming! Being greek is much better than not!

On the contrary, retention speaks volumes on the strength of a chapter. It does no good to recruit well and then lose the women you recruit. If a chapter has high retention, it proves that the women are enjoying their sorority experience and the chapter's programming is where it needs to be.
The women who took a chance on ADPi are obviously not regretting their decision if they are staying. I know for a fact that several sororities on campus are able to boast hitting quota on bid day, simply to have many (sometimes 10+) women drop out in the following weeks. Those women obviously DID regret their decision.
This is just one more example on why rumors and "tent talk" should cease. ADPi may still be in the lower tier, but they are obviously doing something right and are headed in the right direction.

I'm in what this site says is a top tier sorority and I have nothing but respect for ADPi. They are so respected and strong nationally and the A&M chapter is growing with quality girls. In a few years this group could be top of the mid tier if they keep it up. KD is also rising. They are a Southern powerhouse known for being classy. Their philanthropy is popular and I see them rising to top tier one day.

KD definitely isn't a bad house!! I don't know what you're talking about! I didn't go KD but I was there until skit night and I really liked them! The girls I met during fish camp and rush that ended up going KD are all SO sweet and pretty and we're still good friends! Girls that go KD really love it and they have a great sisterhood. Stop hating.

We love KD! We're neighbors and they're so fun! Quit the ADPi hate, it's so old. ADPi and KD aren't even comparable and I'm willing to bet you're actually in a lower tier sorority and trying to put KD down. While KD is significantly above ADPi, ADPi is improving and has a stellar sisterhood full of girls who genuinely love their sorority.

Theta and Gamma Phi are selective. KD and ADPi both have some great girls and have good sisterhoods.. IT is better to be in any sorority at A&M then be GDI. All of the houses have philanthropy events, crush parties, mixers and etc..
