Future PNM's,
If you are lucky enough to receive a bid from any of the A&M houses, consider yourself part of an elite tradition. It's not easy to become one of us, and since the quality and numbers of PNMs has risen EVERY house will choose you or reject you. The days of accepting mediocre girls and leftovers have passed. So when you come here for recruitment, bring your A- Game and a humble attitude or be prepared for mass rejection from EVERY house.

The kernel of truth in this post is that if you want to get a bid to any house you have to plan and work for it. You can't neglect to get recs, wear inappropriate clothes for that round, expect for others to draw you out instead of you being engaging, etc. and expect to get a bid anywhere. I'd also add that girls need to be prepared to love ANY house that invites them back. If you come in only wanting a couple of houses, it's gonna backfire on you. You're not going to know why you weren't invited back, but let me tell you a sad truth. If you drop out this year because you didn't get your special house and think you'll get it next year... YOU WON'T! Plus, you probably won't get near as many invites back as you do your freshman year. This is the most important thing I can tell you. DON'T DROP OUT OF RECRUITMENT!
