sorority tiers???

I am going through recruitment and all I have to say is kappa and chio SUCKED. the girls couldn’t keep a conversation and were socially so awkward. I got invited back after the first day and i would have rather gone back to adpi. y’all need to stay in the loop... things have changed

2018 tiers
top: zeta, tridelt, axo, DG, ChiO
middle: piphi, kappa, theta, gammaphi,
bottom: DZ,adpi,aopi,KD

Have you actually seen the pledge classes?? Kappa, Ti-Delt and Chi O had disappointing rushes this year - Kappas are...yikes! I guess they had to pledge some girls for reasons other than getting the best. Looking at Tri-Delt and Chi O - well, they were not much better. If they keep this up the tiers will need to be revisited - you can't take on a bunch of unattractive Team Blinn girls and expect to stay at the top. Pi Phi and AXO got some hot girls - I'm a guy and I'd rather hang out with them than this new crop of Kappa, Tri-Delt and Chi O chicks- too bad they are letting their standards go - better turn it around next year or the ranks need to change

MIDDLE (in order): Chi O, DG, AXO,
LOWER (in order): DZ, KD, Gamma Phi, ADPi, AOPi

i honestly don’t know why tri delt gets put in top tier. lots of money but everyone i’ve met is pretty weird and socially awkward. i’ve met cool girls and not so cool ones in almost every sorority. just MY opinion but this is what i would say

TOP (in order): Kappa, Zeta, Pi Phi
UPPER (in order): Chi O, Tri Delt, DG
MIDDLE (in order): Theta, AXO, DZ
LOWER (in order): Gamma Phi, ADPi, AOPi

im confused as to why people are commenting JUST NOW on this post from early 2017. like wtf?? start a new thread if you wanna talk about CURRENT ranking. pretty sure someone who is salty about their house not doing well this year commented on this so PNMs will look at this thread not paying attention to how extremely outdated the first part of it is and completely miss the current part (which is full of self ranking from people who are in denial)

Top-
ZTA -based solely on the name. i knew at least 10 girls in rush who only had zeta and adpi left.... but a lot of really cool girls too. sigma chi is like their brother frat but they will party with anyone. always get butthurt when they aren’t invited to every frats events tho.
AXO&DG- nearly everyone who pledged axo had dg on pref night and same goes for the girls at DG. the difference? i think axo got some prettier girls who party harder and they have a huge casino event for charity if that tells ya what they’re like a bit more while DG is more laid back and doesn’t really care what anyone else thinks about them which makes them a bit less relevant after rush week. DG girls can be a little cliquey whereas AXO’s are more inclusive of everyone. Both share a hate for ZTA and definitely not from jealousy.
Upper-
KKG- this house likes to party. they don’t care what anyone else thinks and would prob be a top house again if their house was more appealing but it’s old old. Some of the girls are a tad crusty but i know a few babes who went kappa. definitely the party animals of campus up there with zeta on levels of classiness.
PI PHI- these girls this year were so super sweet they usually are. the house used to be a really big deal and you can tell they degraded looks based on pledge class and for some people that’s important but others not so much. just know these girls are genuine as hell, smart, and kind. Not super relevant on campus and don’t have a huge social life in the greek community but probably one of the best sisterhoods here.
XO- religious for starters. a lot of genuinely kind jesus loving girls. camp counselors who have chaco tans kind of people yet also feel that they are elite and can be exclusive and to a point even rude to others outside their sorority (to an extent. not all the girls but a good 25%). definitely keep to themselves and don’t have a huge social preference. Song fest is a big deal for people.
TRI DELT- must have a mix of ever type of girl. rich, some pretty, some weird, some crusty. you don’t hear a ton about them yet is somehow always known to be a good house. no idea what their philanthropy event even is. they don’t have a super high presence on campus but i’ve seen a few walking around. I feel like it’s just ur average sorority. definitely not a top tier but as far as middle i dont know where they stand.
Lower-
DZ-ok so DZ has been known for sleeping around and although some of this PC does the same a good half of the girls are actually pretty cool this year. They like to get messed up for sure but I know a ton of girls who went DZ this year that are funny and nice. Not known for having a great sisterhood.
KD- had a pretty cool rush but not know for being a big presence in the greek community. a lot of girls who blend in to the crowd but some really pretty ones too. I hear the frats like them so they must be down to earth and cute.

Literally all the home wrecker zetas hyping up there sorority and talking bad about axo has me dead considering axo is literally so much nicer and classier. “hold my crown while i go down”
