why no aphi?

They are 100 yrs old & upper mid-tier house at Texas that cross rushes with lower Big 6 and AXO.
In addition to being top all up and down the west and east coasts, they are great in AZ, Mizzou, KY, FL, etc. Too many mid to top-tier chapters to name.
Even as new houses at Bama, LSU, etc, they are just killing it.
They have a much much deeper nat'l reach than your favs like ZTA, DDD, AXO, etc.
Can't speak to why the AHI Austin area alum didn't help out the Aggie chapter more, but APHI is one of the strongest in all sections of the country.

Are you serious?? Most if not all national sororities in npc are over 100 years old. A few are over 150 years old lol All sororities have strong and weak areas of the country but there are definite national tiers. Top tier in random order would be XO, KKG, KAT, PiPhi, DDD,DG,ZTA,ADPi,and maybe KD. Mid tier would be APhi, Gamma Phi, AXD, PM, AOPI, SK, and a few more, then the rest would be bottom.

"100 years old" obviously refers to the tu chapter of APhi, not the age of APhi nationals.
Just to compare, how old is your chapter?

btw KAT, ZTA, DDD and KD are not top nationally. APHI is (one of the strongest); they initiated the creation of the NPC and 'invented' RFM (used by all sororitys).
You just can't wrap your mind around this because you think TAMU is the epicenter of greek life. lol

APhi closed here in the late 1990's and has never attempted to come back. They have a pretty good middle tier chapter at Texas but really no other houses of note in Texas. They aren't even at most of the big Texas schiols like SMU, Baylor, etc.
Top houses here are Kappa & Tri Delt with Zeta/DG/ChiO all right behind. Theta is a solid middle tier here with sweet & smart girls, very religious house.
Just shows how different each campus is!

No Chi O and KKG used to be top then Zeta
Pi Phi, Tri Delta and Theta were next
Now Tri delta has replaced Chi o so it is
KKG and Tri Delt

ZTA, though a top tier group nationally, is the joke of the top tier nationals. Theta and Tridelt are two of the most respected top nationals. PiPhi and Kappa close a lot for RFM issues. XO is just everywhere, anyone can be a XO. AXO and KD don't have a good or bad rep. DG and ADPi are obsessed with themselves.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, APHI is much stronger across the country than DDD or ZTA will ever be. The only chapters that have as many top or upper mid chapters would be KKG, DG, ....don't even think KAT is that super across the country.
