transfer pnm
by: TransferFrom what I've read on here I'm super scared for rush starting this weekend. I am transferring into TAMU with a really good gpa. Since I was admitted so late, I had a hard time getting letters of recommendations through my local Panhellenic association, so I was only able to get a few. Is it possible that I'll be cut from all houses before preference night?

No one can tell you what will happen during your rush week. But yes, some houses can & do cut if you don't have a rec- they have to release a lot of girls in early rounds and recs & grade risks are two of the biggest things houses cut for early on.
That said, every year there are girls who get bids and didn't have recs to any/all houses. Very few girls get released completely from rush; sadly, it does happen but it's way less than 10% of PNM's. Most girls who don't get bids drop out because they don't like the invitations they have left. If you keep an open mind to joining all houses, your odds of getting a bid are good!
