I'm transferring to A&M but I'm already in a sorority how hard is the transition? Is it uncommon for them to deny my request to join my chapter here? Just wondering how it all works because I love my sorority and I'm sure I'll love my sisters here as well!

Have you inquired about the transfer process with your chapter's nationals? That's the best place to start.
My chapter has accepted one transfer from UT while I've been here. She seems cool but she isn't very involved. I think it's hard to transfer because you don't have a pledge class, don't have a Big/ Lil, etc.
Hopefully it will work out for you but you're going to have to put in a ton of effort to break into a friend group. I'm sure the chapter will be accepting but accepting and including are two different things.
