rush videos

I agree. I think kappa xo and Tridelt recognize that they don't need a rush video to get pnms and that the videos are shallow and stupid.

this made me laugh so hard im seriously trying to picture girls in those sororities bouncing around fake laughing and hitting each other with pillows.

I'm in one of those and know tonnnns of people who didn't know anyone at all. I personally only knew like....2 people in house and happened to have met 3 girls in my PC before rush so I do not think that this is accurate. It took me soooo long to learn everyones names and I am still learning so much about everyone and I've known them for almost a year

I don't think any of those houses have a PC over 100 and chio and Tridelt are always in the top three for gpa. Not sure about kappa? And ya do the majority of girls in the pledge class know one or two people? Sure! But that's the case for EVERY sorority. I went in knowing not a single person and I don't know any girls in my pledge class that went to the same highschool before rush. None. But of course there are girls in my pledge class who knew of an older girl in the sorority before rush because you and I both know that every sorority makes girls push for girls that they know. So stop perpetuating the idea that going chio Tridelt and kappa is basically just staying in highschool because that is 100% not true in the slightest and I'm a perfect example of that.

Literally I don't even know what you're trying to say. You're not speaking English. There is no way that every girl in a pledge class knows at least half of their pledge class before rush..... How would a girl from Houston know every girl from dallas/fort worth/san Antonio/austin before rush? Yeah maybe you know a couple from camp or cousins? lol but it's ridiculous to say you know everyone

I think what is being said is that if every girl in the house knows at least one pledge from high school it isn't a stretch. I mean how many "best high schools both public and private" are there? You can't get all the girls from the best high schools every year like has been asserted and not know each other.

Yeah true. Most everyone in the house will usually know at least one, if not several, new pledges. But I don't see what wrong with that. If there are three super cute girls from your high school who you know of and who would fit really well in your chapter, of course you will pull for them and want them to be in your sorority! There is no such thing as zipcoding... Xo/kappa/tridelt looks through every girl coming through! The problem is when there are so many girls in a chapter and 50% of them are really pulling for a girl they want who wants them back as well, then usually a PC is filled with those initial girls you know. But that by no means does it mean you're out if they don't know you before! A lot of times you will meet someone during the parties who is really freaking AWESOME and would fit in perfectly and then you push for them too! That's how I met my little

As someone who came from a school where almost NO ONE rushes...

Almost everyone in the top houses knew someone coming in. I am sure that there are girls who went DDD or KKG without knowing a single person, but don't lie and say that 90% of girls aren't coming from the same high schools as most all of the girls already in the sorority. To get into those sororities, you need connections or to have gone to a private school where literally every girl rushes. I get that this happens partially just because girls want their younger friends to join the same sorority as them, but man, let's be honest that recruitment is a whole lot harder when you are coming in without knowing anyone.

I didn't say from the same ONE high school...but we all know damn well there is a group of high schools that is most popular during rush. Don't lie.
