thinking of dropphing gphi
by: opinions?im a freshman in Gamma Phi Beta and im thinking about dropping because my pledge class is split into a ton of cliques and a lot of the girls are really cold. I stopped going to crush parties because none of our girls would show up and it was always really awkward. Kind of like a middle school dance. Should i stick with it and see if my time improves or just cut my losses and drop like my friends?

I was in the same situation as you during recruitment. I was pushed by friends who were in one of the lower tier chapters to join them. I went with my gut and chose a sorority that had better events and was more well rounded. I know you may feel bad that you chose a sorority that doesn't fit you. Not saying your sorority is bad just some girls prefer the less active lower tier sororities.

ALL sorority's crush parties are like middle school dances.....and ALL sororities formals are like prom. TRUTH

I disagree. I've been to many sororitys and they are pretty fun and good party atmosphere. I've only been to 3 Gamma Phi party's and they were all pretty bad.

You're obviously just trying to make GPhi seem really bad if you think they're below or with ADPi. Most "top house" girls ride on the fact that their in a popular house and let it dictate their whole college career. News flash, no one cares after, or even in, college. Pick a house you feel comfortable in but don't dismiss the girls just because its been pounded into your brain that there are only a handful of "good" houses to join. Trust me, there are gorgeous girls in every house along side with the weird and less attractive ones. The girls won't make you look any better or worse; you're still you.
