Every sorority has its own membership selection process which is confidential. You are not going to get the answer to your question.

even though each sorority is unique and confidential, good grades and high school involvement is pretty universal. being cute from upper middle class with connections doesnt hurt either.

As for ranking, some sororities are more superficial, as in they just ask for a vote if their members like you, don't like you, or abstain. And other sororities have a points system (points for recs, academic involvement, reputation, etc.) The "top houses" here like Tri Delta, Kappa, and Zeta all pretty much want the same girls, and in that case, IFF you are a top PNM, then you will have the choice of joining the house that suits your personality.

If you're just an average PNM asking how you can stand out, well... there's not much more you can do now, so you might as well not worry about it. Work out, do test runs of your clothing/hair/makeup, and practice practice PRACTICE your convo skills. At this point in the game, conversation should be the #1 priority when it comes to sorority stuff (assuming you've already sent in as many recs as you can find).
