College is about growing up and mixing with people who have had different experiences then yourself. Do you really believe there is no value in girls nobody was best friends with in high school?Seems stupid to focus on recreating high school when you have a chance to broaden your horizons and experiences. That's why people are so threatened by ZTA, DG and Alpha Chi's and really every house they try to keep down. It's threatening when other houses are happily picking their new members and building their own more broad college experiences with girls not from your zip code and you must sit by with the girls you've known since kindergarten and watch those houses succeed and their reputation and reputations with pnm's grow. Perhaps they have more fun as they really enjoy each other and aren't stuck in such a narrow zone.

Really, you should realize in many many cases, the other houses CHOOSE girls you haven't even considered but then you might have to wonder what you are missing out on. It's something or people wouldn't try so desparately to to some how be "above" the other well respected and sought after houses filled with varied girls all united by choice rather then comfort.
