sigma phi omega

Hi, I'm going to be a freshmen in the upcoming fall and I've been bombarded with messages on Facebook by members of the sorority Sigma Phi Omega. They've been trying to ask me information about me and asking if I needed a tour of campus during my NSC or Gig'em week. I was wondering what y'all think of them? Are they legit?

I've never heard of them so they're probably a religious sorority. Not a Panhellenic sorority.

Not a religious sorority or a Panhellenic sorority, they're multicultural. Haven't heard of them until I did a little googling, and they're definitely not on the sorority list on GreekRank.

They're a multicultural sorority. They do a 5K for domestic violence. They seem pretty nice at MSC open house kind of stuff.

They're a sorority but they're part of the multicultural Greek council.

I'm in Zeta, but I have some friends in that sorority actually. In my opinion, if you want to go multicultural you should go for it! Its different from panhellenic though. From my friends that are in that, i can tell that they are very down to earth and tbh I've only heard of them in regards to multicultural. I don't know much about the others, but try to rush.

Some girls from some group called lambda delta psi have been kinda doing the same thing to me... Idk how they found me but they just comment excessively on my posts and stuff.

I see their name everywhere on campus and often seen them doing fundraisers in front of the MSC. they sold spring rolls to me one time and very cute and friendly!

Never heard of them until now..I've heard and seen of Sigma Phi Lambda, but not omega...
