what's the scoop on the dg remodel?

I heard DG is going to do a $750,000 remodel this summer.
When is it starting? Will they have enough time to finish before recruitment? Any other houses remodeling this year?

you must not go to this school..kappa kappa gamma (kappa) is different than kappa delta (kd). also I'm assuming the sorority you're referring to as "cow o" is chi o. I don't know exactly what happened to make you so bitter toward them, but cow o is not a term used by anyone (except you apparently) at this school :)

They're "cheap looking" because the university has not helped at all in terms of providing loans or granting Greek Life use of university land to build on, so when Greek life got started at A&M all those years ago, there was only a short amount of time to fundraise and purchase the land and plan for buildings. Also, there were far, far fewer girls per PC for most of the sororities's times here. Only recently have we become bigger. Other places in the SEC build on university land close to campus with lots of space, and they're on their 2nd or 3rd complete rebuilds. A lot of A&M sororities are in their original houses.
Houses at UT-Austin aren't built on university land either, but those chapters also have tons of money and "tradition" to spend on houses.

Most of houses DO NOT have chapter rooms that accommodate a chapter with Panhellenic-mandated pledge classes of 90-100 girls. The chapter rooms were not built for 400 chapter members.

mistaken. KD has a beautiful house. The one that needs a year down is Cow O.
