Yeah you're totally right, that's probably why about 90% of Chi O had Tri Delt and Kappa on pref nights..... Someone's just bitter they were cut first round...

I admit that I was cut first round and was upset too, but that's no reason to go around posting hateful comments on sororities' boards. This whole website is so catty and biased, its disgusting

Every single chio I know has admitted that they came on wanting Tridelt and got cut first round. I'm sure that isn't the case for all chio's, but yes, 90% of chio's only went chio because they couldn't go Tridelt.

Very selective and hard to get into because of their high GPA requirement, I knew a girl in my Rho Gamma group who was a 4-time legacy and got cut first round. Was a definite favorite during rush, with both Chi O and Tri Delt having the highest retention rates. Have the largest philanthropy event on campus, Songfest, and a good national philanthropy that most PNM's like, the Make a Wish Foundation. Overall great group of girls. Love from DG!

on paper they look like a top house, but honestly they're fake hoes who think they're better than everyone else.

From all the Chi O's I know, they are such a great group of girls! They truly love their sorority and their sisters and they are especially involved with other organizations. I could say this about all the sororities, but I just wanted to comment on here right now because I just finished talking with my Chi O friend and she's just awesome. Love from a Kappa Delta

Chi O is a solid middle tier house, but think they are a top house. Their girls are the most stuck up out of all of tamu and the whole ChiO mentality inflates it. They need to learn that ChiO really is not that great. Also, their philanthropy event, Songfest, is simply them tricking other sororities into doing their work for them and acting like they're rewarding them. Overall, don't go ChiO unless you're a stuck up, self centered person.

I think the best way to describe a Chi O is super sweet but low key don't mess with her. Although they are known for dirty rushing during recruitment by giving oral bids, I still think that they are a really great group of genuine girls who are super smart. A lot of them are adorable and although I am in a different sorority I think chi o is great!!!

do a better job at your philanthropy and stop dirty rushing and maybe you would be a respectable group of girls

Well the Chi-O's look like they have it all. They are beautiful, smart and most of them are strong Christians. However, the only thing they do is Songfest. I went this year and thought it was 2 hours to long. the reputation about Chi-O's being stuck up and thinking they are the best is true. I hardly ever see a Chi-O on campus. I would recommend not going Chi-O at A&M unless these types of qualities are what you are looking for.

To be frank, 3/4 of them would have liked to have been in Tri-Delt or Kappa, but because they weren't pretty or social enough, landed in XO. And then they desperately want to hang onto the coattails of their more popular classmates to go flirt with Fiji boys. They put down DG and Zeta to rank themselves closer to those top two, but XO really isn't any better than Zeta/DG. They're from "good" backgrounds, but stuck-up, awkward, high-strung, and obsessed with nabbing a rich husband by the end.
